The Board of Health of Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department is made up of one county commissioner and one public spirit-minded person from each of the nine counties of the health district. The Board also includes one physician and one dentist constituting twenty members on the board. The Board of Health meets bi-monthly in February, April, June, August and October on the second Thursday of the month and in December on the first Thursday of the month.
