Lab Services

Lab services for preventive reasons are offered daily at our clinic and do not require a doctor's order. These tests will help identify potential health issues and we encourage you to share your results with your doctor.


Tests include:

  • General Panel which includes Complete Blood Count (CBC) Comprehensive Metabolic Profile (CMP) and Thyroid (TSH) - $40
  • Hemoglobin A1C - $35
  • Lipid Profile - $30
  • Prostate (PSA) - $30
  • TSH - $25
  • Vitamin D - $50
  • Health Fair 18 - combines the General Panel and the Lipid Profile - $60


Fasting is required for 12 hours prior to lipid profile testing. (Nothing to eat or drink except water and medications.)

We are not able to bill your insurance company for lab services. We take cash, check, debit or credit cards for payment.


Test Descriptions

General Panel

Includes: CBC (Complete Blood Count), CMP (Comprehensive Metabolic Profile), TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone)
Some of the results you find with this test are:

  • WBC - Used for evaluation of an infection and body susceptibility to infection.
  • RBC - Used to determine anemia and polycythemia (increased blood cell concentration).
  • HgB - The measure of the body's ability to transport oxygen from the lungs.
  • Hct - The percentage of red blood cells in the total blood volume.
  • Platelets - Particles used to form a clot.
  • Sodium - An electrolyte in body fluid that helps to detect dehydration, edema and other symptoms.
  • Potassium - An important element that reflects the fluid balance of the body. It is routinely ordered by physicians to evaluate a wide variety of conditions.
  • Chloride - Indicates the water balance of the body.
  • Glucose - The main source of energy for the body. Glucose rises after a meal and may stay abnormally elevated in some illnesses such as diabetes mellitus.
  • BUN - Primarily used to diagnosis kidney disease, proper hydration.
  • Creatinine - Evaluates kidney function.
  • ALT - An enzyme found in the liver. It may rise with liver diseases, viral infections, and reactions to drugs and alcohol.
  • AST - An enzyme found in the liver, heart and skeletal muscles. It may rise in liver, heart, and muscle disorders.
  • TSH - A hormone that is measured to evaluate the thyroid function.

Lipid Profile

  • Cholesterol is one of the major fats in the body.
  • HDL Cholesterol (Good Cholesterol) -Elevated HDL cholesterol may be associated with decreased risk of heart disease.
  • LDL Cholesterol (Bad Cholesterol) -Elevated LDL may be associated with an increased risk of heart disease.

PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen)

A test for males that can be elevated in certain prostate abnormalities such as enlarged prostate, cancer, etc.


Hemoglobin A1C

Test helps to monitor the effectiveness of diabetes therapy by giving a 3 month average blood sugar level.
